We will have our first spelling test tomorrow, they will have 8-10 words given to them from their original list they received on Monday. Ask your child about Ms Emily and Ms Sally, they are students from the UW that will be helping us out Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons until December.

* A note about writing homework notebooks. We use these notebooks at least 2-3 times/week for the entire year and often build off of what we have written in them. For example, we may concentrate on personal narrative introductions and then ask you to use those in a full story. With that being said, PLEASE help your child keep track of that spiral. It is clearly labeled with their name and "Writing Homework." IF they get misplaced, it is really hard to remember all that was previously written in them. We already have had to replace a couple this year. Thanks for your help with this.
